ARTSWORK Pre-professional Program of Contemporary West Dance Theatre (CWDT) Founded by Bernard H Gaddis and lead by Artistic Director Avree Walker, and Assistant Program Director Koura Wright, celebrates its first annual “Continuing the Legacy Dance Concert Series” with a collection of innovative works that explore the artistic range and versatility of the ARTSWORK dancers.

The program will feature works by CWDT Founding Artistic Director, Bernard Gaddis (Opulence & PHIB), ARTSWORK Artistic Director & Resident Choreographer, Avree Walker (Release the Doves), and guest artists, renowned choreographer, 2021 Guggenheim Fellow & Princess Grace Award winner, Tommie-Waheed Evans(You/I), and legendary hip hop choreographer Lorenzo “Rennie” Harris (Lifted). The program will showcase both our Studio Company and Training Division, with works by Training Division Director Koura Wright (New Creation), and CWDT Artists and Staff, Sophie Henning (The Threads that Connect Us) & Tuwani Palacio (Beam).
