Las Vegas, Nevada (Nov. 22, 2010) – The Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater presents its February Valentine’s Concert performance “Love with LVCDT” at the West Las Vegas Library Theater. 951 West Lake Mead blvd Las Vegas, NV 89106 Opening night curtain will be February 11, 2010 at 7:00p.m. The series will include one full evening performance and two children mini performances with a post performance discussion with the director and dancers of LVCDT on Saturday. The times are 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

We are proud and excited to be able to share this innovative program with the Las Vegas community. This annual concert that is partly sponsored by the Las Vegas Clark County Library District, is free and open to the public. “LVCDT and LVCCLD tries to make sure that our programs reflect the diversity of the community so that local families as well as frequent theater patrons can take advantage of these opportunities to experience the thrill of live performances.

LVCDT Is Las Vegas’ first professional contemporary dance company, best known for its passionate and relatable repertoire. LVCDT has a dance style that is both classical and modern as well as highly athletic. The Company has over 30 Ballets in its repertoire, some which have been performed by some of the most renowned dance companies in the world!!

Bernard H. Gaddis and Charmaine Hunter founded the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater in 2007. Gaddis, known internationally as both a gifted performer and an amazing choreographer, continues with the company with Associate Director Emeritus Kevin Gibbs. Las vegas media boasts, “LVCDT is a breath of fresh air to Las Vegas cultural dance scene”. “Gaddis company of dancers reflects the diversity of the local community and the world and brings electrifying performances of new neo-classical and modern ballets to the stage—they leave the audience with the sense joy and excitement by what they witnessed”.

The Program will include: Excerpts from various ballets from LVCDT’s extensive repertoire, which will make up a full evening of dance.
Seating is general and donations are requested but not required.
